Wichita is about to welcome its third Sam’s Southern Eatery, adding a fresh twist to the city’s Southern dining scene. This new location is spearheaded by Emanuel Ashiedu, a Salina-based software engineer and passionate restaurateur. Situated at 6121 E. 21st St., the site boasts a storied history — originally built as a Long John Silver’s in the 1980s and later transformed into Clouds, a daiquiri lounge and Mediterranean restaurant. Soon, it will serve up the rich, comforting flavors Sam’s Southern Eatery is known for.

Convenience Meets Flavor with Drive-Through Service

For the first time in Wichita, Sam’s Southern Eatery will offer a drive-through, a move that Emanuel Ashiedu has long envisioned. While this location is more compact than the others, it promises efficient service without sacrificing quality. The drive-through menu will feature beloved staples, including:

Central, both quickly becoming local favorites.
